they say that 'many are called, but few are chosen.' and out of the chosen few unfortunately, i was the one who did not make it! i spent 10 years inside those monastery walls, 2 years in the army, 2 years in the deserts of saudi arabia (just before the 'desert storm'), 25 years in the hospitality industry and 14 years in the consulting business. after september 11, i applied to join the u.s. armed forces. they said, i am TOO OLD. well, i said to myself, perhaps for WAR i am; but for LOVE, i know that i am not. i am one of those books whose cover may not be as colorful and attractive as the others. it's only when you already read a few of my pages where you'll discover that 'for heaven's sake' i do have a charming and active personality, less magnetic perhaps, but with pages full of action and suspense, powered by a restless soul --- in search of someone i would be able to love next to God! |
